Taiwan Donates Materials to JFP

The Taiwanese ambassador to The Gambia, Dr. Patrick Chang, recently donated $30,000 worth of materials to Jammeh Foundation for Peace in a ceremony held at the Department of State for Communication, Information and Technology.

The items donated included 200 wheelchairs, 230 elbow crutches, 100 canes and 100 walking sticks.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Dr. Chang expressed delight in the development, adding that the donation was the fourth in a series of donations made by Pu-HSEIN Education Foundation.

The Secretary of State for Information, Neneh Macdoll-Gaye, thanked Taiwan for the intervention.

She commended Taiwan for their ‘support’ in the accomplishment of development projects in The Gambia.

Mrs. Macdoll-Gaye expressed hope that the items would be properly utilized.

Ansumana Jammeh, JFP CEO, expressed similar sentiments.
