Juana Manneh and Sireh Camara, both palm wine sellers, were last Thursday granted bail at a sum of D500 each for selling palm wine without holding a valid license.

The duo, all from Old Jeshwang, was arraigned before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ court.

When the charge was read over to them, they pleaded not guilty. At this point, the presiding magistrate then adjourned the case to 23rd July, 2007 for continuation.
