The manager of Barry Bureau de Change is currently in conflict with the laws of the land following a court order that he must pay over half-a-million dalasis to Messrs. Momodou Dem and Yusupha Sawaneh.
Civil suits were instituted against Alpha Omar Jallow for embezzlement and breach of contract.

Mr. Jallow was dragged to the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court by Momodou Dem for breach of contract involving D627,000.

Jallow was also sued by Yusupha Sey Sawaneh for breach of contract that involved D340,000. The money was given to him to convert it to US dollars but had failed to do so.
He was therefore ordered to pay Dem the sum of D627,000, D10,000 as damages ,  cost of D5000 and 5% interest per annum until the monies are fully paid.

Meanwhile, Jallow was also ordered to pay Sawaneh the sum of D340, 500, cost and 3% interest until such time that the monies are fully paid.
He’s given a 14-day ultimatum failure of which…
