The lengthy litigation involving six former operatives of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) resumed at Kanifing Magistrates’ Court last week.

Salimina Drammeh, Lamin Drammeh, Basirou Jabang, Kajali Jawara, Fabakary Barrow and Lamin Sanneh were late last week at Kanifing Magistrates’ Court for the continuation of their trial over allegations of theft, conspiracy, abuse of office and criminal trespass.

The men are undergoing trial on suspicion of stealing $206,000, eight pieces of diamond, D1,100, a shaving machine and mobile phone.

The latest prosecution witness to give account in the trial was Senior High Court interpreter, Doudou Manneh, and the case continues.
