Secy Faye Calls For Massive Support Sunday

The Secretary of State for Youths, Sports and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Omar Faye, has called on all Gambians to come out in their number to rally behind the Scorpions in their Sunday outing against Algeria in Ghana 2008 qualifiers.

Honorable Sheikh Omar Faye said the importance of Gambians support in Sunday game cannot be under estimated as the Scorpions need all that it takes to win their match against the Desert Warriors of Algeria so that they can be part of the teams that will make it to Ghana 2008.

Secy Faye made this remark at the presentation of football materials to GFA yesterday at the Gambia Red Cross Society Headquarters in Kanifing.

“All Gambians should come out to the Independence on Sunday September 9 to cheer up the Scorpions to victory,” he concluded.
