One Ensa Jallow was, on Monday, arraigned before Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, charged with common assault.

According to the particulars of the offense, Ensa Jallow, on the 20th of September, 2008, in Bakau, KMC, attacked and beat one Fatou Jallow seriously.  When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleaded not guilty.

At that juncture, the magistrate adjourned the case to 3rd November, 2008.

The accused person was granted bail in the sum of D150 with one Gambian surety.
