The protracted trial of The Gambian-US based Journalist, Fatou Jaw Manneh was yesterday deferred to Monday, April 21st for continuation of hearing at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, presided over by Principal Magistrate Buba Jawo.
The adjournment was precipitated following the indisposed of the Defense Counsel, Lamin Jobarteh.
Ellen Manga, State Counsel informed the court that the defense is said to be sick, thus, prompting her to appealed the court for adjournment of the case.
It could be recalled that Fatou Jaw Manneh has been standing trial on sedition charges since April last year.
