The Kanifing Magistrates Court, presided over by Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake, yesterday granted one Dembo Jatta a court bail in the sum of D10,000 or a Gambia surety with a valued property.
Mr Jatta is standing trial on charges of arming himself with intend to commit a felony and shop breaking.
According to the prosecution, the accused, on September 1st 2008, at Serrekunda Market, was found with a metal iron bar, with the intent to commit a felony.
Count two states that the accused, on the same day, time and place, wilfully broke into the shop of one Emmanuel Anene by breaking the padlocks. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
