One Pa Mbye Badjie was on Tuesday arraigned before Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court charged being publicly armed with a knife.

The accused is also said to have threatened to stab one Yankuba Jallow with the said knife. The incident was said to have occurred on January 8th 2008 in Fajikunda. The accused, who pleaded not guilty, was granted bail in the sum of D10,000. The case was then adjourned to 10th February 2009 for further hearing.
