In D19m theft case prosecution witness discharged

Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh, of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, yesterday discharged the prosecution witness, Yankuba Jatta, former Accountant at the Kanilai Family Farm after been cross-examined by the accused persons, namely Aziz Tamba, Mustapha Bojang and Famara Colley.

During his cross examination, Mr. Jatta told the court that he does not know when the bank account for the farm was opened. He told the court that whenever he collected cash from customers he prepares receipts to that effect. He said he doesn’t keep the money.

It could be recalled that Aziz Tamba, Mustapha Bojang and Famara Colley, all ex-employees of the Kanilai Farm are standing trial over D19M saga.
