WR Sports Committee Trip to Kanilai Postponed

The most awaited trip to Kanilai farm by Western Region Youth and Sports Committee this Friday has been re-scheduled to next weekend.

Inspector Lamin King Colley, Chairman of Western Region Sports Committee said the move was taken after receiving a call from the Kanilai farm manager who informed them that this weekend, the farm will be occupied by a large number of women and advised them to reschedule the trip to next weekend.

Mr Colley revealed that they want to use the opportunity to present their yearly action plan to President Jammeh during their stay in Kanilai.

“The visit to Kanilai would be an annual event for Western Region,” King Colley revealed.

He maintained that come next weekend all those who were selected to join them for Kanilai to report on time.

It could be recalled that the Western Region Sports Committee, all the district Sports Committees and teams in the region from Kartong to Kalagi had the intention of travelling to Kanilai this weekend to give a helping hand to President Jammeh’s call for back to land.
