The new Libyan Five Star hotel, JERMA Beach, received its first tourist arrival on Christmas day. This reporter who visited the hotel saw a frenzy of activity in and around the poolside.

A chat with some enthusiastic staff betrayed the widespread satisfaction under the management of General Manager Mr Luc A Verschelden.
“As we are speaking to you, we are having a full house.’ The staff also disclosed that since the commencement of its operations, the hotel did not cease to be fully booked thanks to the excellent service it offers to its guest. The hotel housing 19 villas offers exemplary service that is second to none in The Gambia’s tourism sector.

JERMA BEACH HOTEL & RESORT is the newest Five Star resort in The Gambia. It is located in the latest developing part of the Tourism Development Area (TDA) in Kololi and is built on a three- hectare beach-front property.
