Seedy Bojang, the Daily Observer’s Chief Proof-reader, and a journalist who specialises in research and writing will on Friday, June 29, 2007, launch another book entitled: ‘ABC of Journalism’ at Sarge’s (Tafbel) Hotel in Kololi at 5:00pm.

The book is a collection of commentaries and analysis about journalism that seeks to clarify issues and methods of the profession.

Speaking to this reporter yesterday, Seedy Bojang, said his work is a series of writings that he undertook to raise public awareness on journalism so that readers could acquire correct information and develop the right attitudes towards journalism as a branch of human knowledge. “The book is an attempt to discard shuttle calumny about the role of journalism in a modern day society,” he noted.

Hassoum Ceesay, a historian and writer, said “if the book is properly used and regularly referred to, then writers will be saved from the embarrassment of small errors, which are avoidable”. This is his second book in one year.

He finally thanked Dr.Alieu Badara Saja Taal as his source of inspiration.
