Pierre Senghor, an employee of Kombo Beach Hotel has been dragged to court for stealing an air conditioner worth D15, 000 belonging to the hotel.

According to the charge sheet, on November 9, the accused stole the said item from Kombo Beach Hotel.

When the charge was read to the accused, he pleaded not guilty.  He told the court that the complainant (Kombo Beach Hotel) had decided to withdraw the charge against him.

Magistrate Mbackeh who presided over the case told the accused that the withdrawal of the case does not depend on the complainant since he pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him. He said the court would proceed with the case.

The case was then adjourned to December 10 and the accused was granted bail at a tune of D15, 000.
