This paper has gathered reliable information that Mr Modou O. Njie, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Department of State for Forestry, was last Thursday, 21st February 2008 arrested and detained at Kotu Police Station.
 
The reason for Mr Njie’s arrest was up to the time of going to press not known to this paper, nor whether he is being charged for any wrong doing.
