IMAM STABBED TO DEATH

Suspect in police net

Amadou Jallow, Imam of Kuntaur Village, Central River Region, was reported to have died of multiple stabbing on Monday, at around  7:30 am.

Sources revealed to the Daily Observer that the late Imam Amadou Jallow, was stabbed 16 times by unknown individuals.

However, sources could’t tell the Daily Observer the reason for this gruesome murder.

Meanwhile, sources revealed a suspect (yet to be identified) has been arrested in connection with the murder and detained at Bansang Police Station. He was said to be helping the police in their investigations.

When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Sulayman Secka, confirmed the story.

PRO Secka added that the body of the late Imam has been sent to the RVTH for a postmortem.
