In fulfillment of Article VII, Section 7,1 and 7.4 of the Gambia National Olympic Committee Constitution, the Ordinary Session of the General Assembly will this year be officially held on Friday 7th December 2007 at its Olympic House in Mile 7.

The primary purpose of the General Assembly is to create an enabling environment for all the registered sporting affiliates to fully participate in the review and evaluation of activities undertaken by the Gambia National Olympic Committee during the year under review.

Recognizing the importance of this annual event, this session will serve as a unique platform for the Secretary of State of Youth and Sports to address the sporting fraternity, particularly in the area of Government’s strategic priorities in the development of sports.
