Pakalinding FC was recently crowned Jarra West U-17 Football champions after beating Njogu Demba Academy 4-1 in post match penalty kicks.

The tournament, sponsored by Lamin King Colley, chairman of Western Region Sports Committee, attracted many teams in the district.

The final was well contested as both teams tried to find the back of the nets but no avail resulting to a goalless draw after 90 minutes.

At the end of the final, Pakalinding FC was awarded a giant trophy and cash prize of D3000 while Njogu Demba Academy went home with D2000.

The final was graced by the governor of Central River Region Modou Soma Jobe and other dignitaries.
