New School Opens in Sanyang

An early child education centre, called the Kobisata Nursery School, was recently inaugurated at Sanyang village in the Western Region.

The construction of the centre was sponsored by a Dutch national, Mariples Norum, to the tune of 11,000 euros.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held at Sanyang village, Mr. Bojang, a custodian of the school, showered plaudits on the sponsors for facilitating the construction of the school.

Outlining his achievement on the project, Mr. Bojang said the construction of the school took about three years, adding that he is today much elated and satisfied that, by the power of the Almighty Allah, and the support of donors and the residents of the village, he has successfully completed the construction of the school including standard facilities. For his part, the Dutch national, Mr. Norum, emphasised the importance of education and the need for someone to have extensive training before maturity.

He also said that other facilities and more improvement of the learning environment are in the pipeline.
