The Governor of Central River Region, Mr. Ganjie Touray, recently called on Gambian youths to engage themselves in productive ventures to enable them lead decent lives.

Governor Touray was addressing corps members of NYSS during the harvesting of their rice in Sapu.
He admonished youths to constructively and fruitfully engage themselves in worth-while undertakings for the realisation of their dreams and the common good.

According to Mr. Touray, the harvest was a good and laudable move, commending the Gambian leader for ‘having the interest of Gambian youths at heart’.

He assured the NYSS of his office’s willingness and determination to work with the scheme at anytime.
“My office has an open-door policy and will give you a helping hand whenever the need arises,” he assured.
