Gambia Ports Authority beat Bakau United 1-0 in their league match played at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium yesterday.

The lone-goal victory saw Ports Authority hold on to their good start in the domestic league after a premature elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup Championship.

The Ferry Boys, to the delight of their under-fire coach Ebrima Cham-Joof, drew one and won two matches in their first three league matches.

Elsewhere on the same day, Real de Banjul and Division One returnees, Interior FC, fought a tooth-and-nail goalless draw at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.

Week Five games resume today when current league leaders, Armed Forces, take on Wallidan at the Independence Stadium, Bakau.

Gamtel and Samger will battle it out at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium, whilst Steve Biko face Sea View at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
