HIV 2nd batch treatment starts

Thursday, February 15, 2007
The second batch of President Dr Yahya Jammeh’s herbal treatment for twenty-seven patients (17 females and 10 males) with HIV/Aids infection will start today at the new Serrekunda Hospital.

Below is the press release.

“The Department of State for Health and Social Welfare is hereby informing the general public that His Excellency’s Herbal Treatment for twenty-seven patients (17 females and 10 males) with HIV infection, will commence tomorrow at the new Serrekunda Hospital.

It will be recalled that all the patients had physical and laboratory examinations done on the 13th of February 2007.

All registered patients are therefore required to report at the hospital at 8:00 in the morning of Thursday 15th February 2007.

Meanwhile the Department of State for Health and Social Welfare is hereby informing the general public that his Excellency will treat Asthma patients on Saturday 17th February 2007.

All patients who require treatment are to register at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital duty room or with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Welfare at any of the following numbers: 4228624, 9914535, 7764535”.

It could be recalled that the first batch of HIV/Aids patients treated by President Jammeh have proven successful, according to the lab test carried out by Professor Soulayman Mboup, Head of Bacteriology at the Cheikh Anta Diop University Teaching Hospital in Dakar, Senegal.

The lab tests were supervised by Professor Coumba Toure Kane, Head of the Molecular Biology Unit of the UTH.

The conclusions for patients with HIV2 are as follows:

Adama Manneh - HIV virus undetectable

Fatou Fadera - HIV Virus undetectable

Fatou Kaw - HIV virus undetectable

Dado Jawo - Low viral load

For patients with HIV1, the lab results show the following:

Jonkong Jajure - High viral load

Jainaba Sey - Moderate viral load

Lamin Ceesay - Very High viral load

Ousman Sowe - Viral load less than detectable level.

These tests conducted by a reputable institution like the University Cheikh Anta Diop, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, are enough proofs that indeed the herbal medicine and therapy administered by President Jammeh have yielded results beyond all reasonable doubts, that they are effective and can cure AIDS. These lab tests show that for patients with HIV2, the virus was no longer detectable.

This is a scientific proof that President Jammeh’s claim is true and has been verified to be true through the most rigorous scientific test namely a lab in a medical school.
