Momodou Lamin Saine, a building contractor resident in Tabokoto, has instituted a civil suit against one Mariama Barrow of Brufut over alleged breach of contract.

Momodou Lamin is seeking redress for an alleged breach of agreement involving the sum of D31,250.00.

According to him, he had entered into an agreement with the defendant over a construction of a house.

“She promised to pay D26,250.00 for workmanship and has in fact made a payment of D5,000.00 to get the work off the ground. However, upon the completion of the project Mariama refused to pay me and several efforts to recover the outstanding amount did not bear any fruit,” the plaintiff told the court.

The case resumes 16 January for continuation.
