Youth Denies Chicken Poaching Charges

A youth of Yundum village in Kombo North last week denied responsibility for being found in possession of fowls suspected to have been unlawfully obtained.

Lamin Drammeh was on Thursday of last week arraigned before magistrate John Njie of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for being allegedly found in possession of three suspected stolen fowls contrary to section 297 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 10, Vol. III of the Laws of The Gambia.

The case resumes November 6 for trial proceedings and Cpl. 413 Sanyang would represent the Inspector General of Police in the trial.
