In Abidjan Four-Nation Tourney

Gambia U-17 Enter in the Race Today

The Gambia U-17 team would begin their race in the Abidjan four-nation tournament today against Niger at the Felix H. Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.

The awaited match would kick off at 14.00pm GMT

The Gambia National U-17 team left Banjul on Saturday morning for Abidjan to take part in the tournament organised by the Ivorian Football Federation.

The four nations to compete in the Abidjan tournament are Niger, The Gambia, Burkina Faso and the host Cote d’Ivoire.

The tournament would be played in a league format with the two top teams on the final table would go to the final.

It could be recalled that the Gambia team to Abidjan is made of 18 players coached by the Tarik, the Egyptian technical assistant and assisted by Ebrima Jallow alias EB, former Bakau United and Seaview coach.
