KMC receives wheelbarrows, others

The Believers Loveworld, known as the Chirst Embassy, on Tuesday presented wheelbarrows, spades and a stand fan to Francis Gomez, acting Mayor of Kanifing Municipality Council (KMC), at a presentation ceremony held at the KMC Chambers.

Receiving the items, Mayor Gomez commended the Christ Church for the gesture. He observed that the donated materials will augment his Council’s current efforts to ensure a clean environment within the municipality.

According to him, the donation will go a long way towards cementing the cordial relationship of the two institutions.

He then assured that the items will be put into good use.

For his part, Edith Enahoro, a Pastor at the Christ Embassy said, the church is part of a global ministry, headquatered in Lagos, Nigeria. According to Pastor Enahoro, it’s embedded in the mission of the ministry to contribute to the development of humankind. “We are interested in the spiritual and wellbeing of all individuals,” she said.

She informed the ceremony that more similar donations are in the pipeline. She commended Mayor and the staff of KMC for their efforts towards the development of the municipality.
