Nusrat student needs overseas treatment

Aziz Camara, a 23-year- old epileptic patient and a grade 11 student at Nusrat Senior Secondary School, is seeking assistance from individuals or organisations to help him undergo overseas treatment.

According to a medical report from the RVTH, Aziz Camara is suffering from epileptic (motortonic asymmetric), with secondary generalisation and poor control, which developed a hemiparesia and severe headache.

The report also outlined that the physical examination conducted on him revealed the state of his respiratory system, cardiovascular system, abdomen and CNS.

A CT scan on Aziz Camara, an outstanding at his school, revealed hypodense tumoral shadow, which measures 3.8cm on the right parietal lobe, with central necrosis huge peri-tumoral brain oedema.

The Hospital Management Board of RVTH has recommended a referral treatment for Azziz Camara to a hospital where neuro-surgical facilities are available, especially in neighbouring Senegal.
