According to The Time USA based Newspaper, the most influential artistes are Sacha Baron, Leonardo Dicaprio, Martin Scorsese and Cate Blanchett.
The list includes the Artistic Director of Lanvin Alber Elbaz, the Pop Star Justin Timberlake, the top Model Kate Moss and the Senegalese musician Youssou Ndour.
The Time did not mention the specific position of each of the top personalities but revealed that they intend to honour male and female who have power, talent or the moral example to transform the world.
Osama Bin Laden, Pope Benedict XVI and Al Gore are among the 100 most influential people in the world, according to the final list published by The Time, in which for the first time excluded the USA President George W. Bush.
The complete list published on Friday includes the main Democratic American presidential candidates for 2008. They are Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama as well as President of the Senate, the Democrat Nancy Pelosi.
The heads and revolutionaries among the list are the Israeli Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni and his American counterpart Condoleezza Rice who is making her fourth appearance in the list of the most influential personalities.
Among the list is the governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, the interim Cuban head of State, Raul Castro, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the supreme spiritual leader in Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The former USA vice president Al Gore is named in the list of Scientists and Thinkers together with the co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen, the astrophysician and Nobel John Masther and the scientist Douglas Melton.
In the circle of Heroes and Pioneers, the multi- Billionaire Warren Buffett, the Swiss tennis champion Roger Federer, the soccer player Thierry Henry, the actor and militant for the cause of Darfur, George Clooney.
Finally the entrepreneurs of the year include the co-founders of You Tube Videos Side, the founder of Apple Steve Jobs and LVMH boss, the Frenchman Bernard Arnault.
