Are You Still Struggling With Google Adwords

Sunday, July 22, 2007

I’ve been using Google Adwords off and on for several years and have been frustrated with the results each time I set up a new campaign. Part of the problem can be the way the administration screen is laid out, it really is a steep learning curve to get organized and figure out what all the options will do.

I suppose a case could be made to read the on site help center but that only serves to confuse the user even more. The whole process can throw the beginner into information overload.

So what does a beginner need to do to get a successful campaign started with Google Adwords? Start by reading every free ebook you can get your hands on regarding adwords. Join the adwords forums, find a good blog or website that focuses on the subject. When you think you’ve studied the subject inside and out, ask your self a few basic questions.

What is google adwords? What can it do for me? Where do I find adwords advertisements? How much will it cost to sign up?

When you can answer these questions your ready to move on to the next step, think your ready? Go ahead and sign up for a free Google Adwords account. Select the “Starter Edition” since it has fewer options to consider and you can always convert over to the “standard edition” later when you feel more comfortable with the layout.

Look around, maybe even set up a few fake advertisements to promote your blog or an affiliate program you would like to sell. What ever you do, DON’T activate your campaign until you have read “Adwords Miracle”.

Adwords Miracle will give you the information needed to turn a money loosing campaign into marketing gold. The price may be a little steep ($97 as of June 2007) but given the value of the information you will learn, you will earn back the price of the book in a very short time.

If you have been confused or intimidated by adwords in the past you definitely need to read adwords miracle. The author goes through and explains each step needed to create a winning advertisement that will get the attention of buyers and turn them into clicks. Even if you already have an adwords campaign running you will find plenty of tips and tricks to get your ad displayed higher on the search page, decrease your cost per click, and increase your current click through rate.

If you have been thinking of taking your adwords education to the next level then I think you will find this book an excellent investment. There are over 110 pages full of helpful information that takes you though the process one step at a time.

Take it from someone who has spent a fortune on marketing books and material, this is one book you need to read if your struggling with Google Adwords.
