Microsoft launched BizTalk Server 2006 R2 with RFID integration in Taiwan firstly

Microsoft launched BizTalk Server 2006 R2 with the great RFID technologies in Taiwan at September 11 (Taipei Time). And Microsoft Taiwan held a launch seminar with "Pulse the Operations with the Communication of Enterprises" topic and invited hardware and software companies introducing the integration between RFID, SOA, and EDI with BizTalk Server 2006 R2.

At the press conference, Steven Martin (Director of Product Management for BizTalk® Server Product Group at Microsoft Corp.) mentioned the advance of BizTalk Server 2006 R2 with decreasing costs to improve the opportunity for enterprises. And also, he praised that Taiwan had a great environment on developing RFID technology, that's why Microsoft Global Headquarter chose Taiwan as the first place launching this product.

Except for seminar and exhibition, Microsoft Taiwan also welcomed Chang Jung Christian University, Telecommunication Laboratories of Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd., Tekho Inc., Formosa Petrochemical Co., Ltd., and Quanta Computer lnc. to introduce their solutions from their earlier integration and show the strength of RFID technologies in Taiwan.

After the launch series in Taiwan, Microsoft Global Headquarter announced that Sydney was awarded for the next country of this launch tour at September 13, and finally returned to Chicago at October 2.
