The Scottish Giant, Glasgow Rangers, is currently hosting two Gambian youngsters, Sarja Leigh and Babucarr Suso alias Baka for trials.
The young Gambian verse tail midfielder, Sarja Leigh and the former U-17 goalkeeper Babucarr Suso are already in Scotland for trials with one of the biggest Club in Europe.
According to Ambroise Mendy, the man behind the move, the two young Gambian players are currently training with Rangers team A.
It could be recalled that both Sarja Leigh and Babucarr Suso were part of the Gambia U-17 team that won the African Nations Cup in Banjul on May 2005 and continued to put The Gambia’s name in the World soccer plan when they humiliated Brazil 3-1 in the World U-17 championship held in Peru in September 2005.
Babucarr Suso left the country just after the team returned from the Peru Championship while Sarja Leigh moved to Stade Malien in Bamako.
He played a very important role in the African U-20 qualifiers as well as the finals in Congo.
Sarja was dropped from the final list to the World Youth Champions held in Canada due to injury.
