Sulayman Secka, a member of the Gambia Table Tennis Association has informed the   the sports department that the embattled President of the table tennis association has abandoned the association without leaving behind its properties.

According to Secka, Daniel Able Thomas, has verbally claimed to have resigned from his position as the table tennis association, adding “he is still having our tables, balls, nets and other equipment with him and we want them back”. “He claimed to have resigned verbally, but we are not taking that. If he wants to resign, he should write to us officially or let’s go to the congress and elect new leaders,” Secka told Observer Sports shortly after lodging his complaints to the sports department in Saturday’s meeting.

“The association has no choice ,but to call off all its activities because we have no equipment. We are in the verge of losing our committed members even because of lack of functions,” he   concluded.
