The Scorpions fans club has released a single track song entitled ‘SANCHALLY JARAMA’ meant to boost support for the national teams.
According to Alieu Leigh, entertainment chairperson of the club, the release is part of their plans to create a six-track album in order to rally more support for the teams in any international matches.
He said as part of their plans, they intend to make a video clip immediately after the Ramadan and further went on to urge the national U-20 team to be fully ready for the Saturday game in order to book their tickets to Congo 2007.
Alieu Leigh commended President Jammeh, the Scorpions Fans Club Members and the Media for their invaluable support.
He called on all Gambians to come out in their numbers for the second leg of the qualifiers of the African Youth Championship on Saturday.
“It will be the first time for the Gambia to qualify to this championship if we win on Saturday against Mali. Though it is Ramadan time but we should come out and support the boys to their qualification” he said.
