The annual Ebo Town/ New Jeshwang Football tournament, sponsored by Top Saho, reached the quarterfinals stages after tough group matches.

According to Zone King, former Gambia National Team player and initiator of the tournament, the quarterfinal battles would start today Thursday November 23rd 2006 at the Ebo Town Football field better known as Park Joola.

The First quarterfinal match would be between Black Market and O.K. Gambia.

Tomorrow Friday 24th November, Garden BI would face Pharmacy while Chelsea lock horns with Falling Kuta on Saturday 25th November.

The last quarter- final game is on Sunday 26th November between Fire Stone and West Land.

The semi-final matches would be played on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December 2006.

The winner of quarter-final one would play against the winner of quarter-final three in the first semi-final while the winner of quarter-final two would face the winner of quarter-final four in the second semi-final.

The grand final is set for Sunday 10th December 2006 at the Park Joola.

It could be noted that 13 teams took part in the tournament.
