The Gambia which is now known worldwide as the Smiling Coast will be the setting of beehive of entertainment and sport activities as the Gambia Tourism Authority is poised to organize what is tagged National Tourism Week from 28 November to 3 December 2006, a highly placed source told The Point.

According to our source, the weeklong event will witness various sporting and entertainment programmes such as football, volley and handball tournaments as well as earth-trembling musical concerts featuring the likes of Jaliba Kuyateh.
