Gambian-born prolific reggae artist, Egalitarian recently returned from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso where he attended the Ouaga Hiphop Festival.

The festival which brought together artists from 10 countries within sub-region was aimed at promoting African music as well as bringing unity between African and Western artistes.

Egalitarian described the festival as an important event, noting that it provided him the opportunity to raise The Gambian flag high and also to make contacts with world - renowned music promoters and producers.
