Brufut Marathon Run Association (BMRA) has donated D5,000 worth of fuel to Brufut Health Centre, earmarked for referral cases.

Seedy Bojang, Secretary-General of the association told Observer Sports. that the association has this year alone paid a complete one-year tuition fees for two students at Scan-Aid and Brufut Lower Basic schools.

He said the funds disbursed were raised from the recently held marathon of December 23, 2006.

“We have always seen it as our social responsibility to give back to the society we belong to. This is one of the prime objectives of Brufut Marathon Run Association and we will always endeavour to contribute our quota,” he said.
