The Gambia Belgian Family (Gambel) last week donated a consignment of medical items and other goods such as bed sheets, milk and electric wheel chairs to the Women’s Bureau.

The items, which were presented to the Executive Director of Women’s Bureau Mrs. Ida Faye-Hydara, is meant for the Maternity Ward at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital.

Presenting the donated items Mr Eric Be Cuyper, a member of Gambel said that donation is geared towards complementing the ‘good job’ the Women’s Bureau is doing at the RVTH.

“ As you know they are doing renovation works at the RVTH and we are donating them these items so as to complement their efforts in bringing quality healthcare delivery to the door-steps of Gambian people” Mr Be Cuyper said.
