Degoo HIV/AIDS Support Organisation, (DHASO) a newly established humanitarian NGO, recently organised a youth forum at the old Jeswhang Lower Basic School. The event forms part of activities marking their 3rd anniversary celebrations.

The forum was aimed at sensitising youths and children on dangers of HIV/AIDS, toubaculosis among other health related issues.

speaking at the occasion, Mrs Awa Uba, Chairperson of the organisation’s Board of Directors, said the organisation’s vision is to help in the fight against HIV/AIDS, as it is a threat to the lives of young people.

Miss Isatou Jallow, for her part said DHASO is humanitarian support organisation that seeks to provide information through counselling and related services country wide on the dangers of the deadly disease.

The forum was attended by school children, teachers, parents and volunteers from North Bank and Western Regions.
