Bala Garba Jahumpa exonerated

Bala Garba Jahumpa, former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and now The Gambia’s Ambassador, designated to the Latin American State of Venezuela , has been exonerated in the passport and visa scandal discovered at the Department of State for Foreign Affairs

This was confirmed to the Daily Observer, by Inspector, Sulayman Secka, Public Relations Officer of the Gambia Police Force, whose institution is currently   investigating into the scandal.

Mr Jahumpa, according to the Police PRO, is the only person among the four to be cleared of any wrongdoing in connection with the scandal as of now.

Readers would recall that Mr Jahumpa and three other top officials of the Department of State for Foreign Affairs, were   last week arrested by the Police   over the scandal and   later granted bail.
