Paul Jatta, OJ Krumah off to Southampton Academy

The captain of the victorious Gambia U-17 team in the Ivorian Peace tournament, Paul Jatta alias Appa of Hawks FC and former Black pool star player, Omar OJ Krumah were expected to leave Banjul last Tuesday October 9th, 2007 for United Kingdom.

That was revealed to Pointsport by their representative, Ambroise Mendy, a Gambian based in the United Kingdom.

Speaking in an interview on Monday, Mr. Mendy said that he is taken these youngsters to Southampton Academy, the best Football Academy in the UK.

He added that he was very impressed by the talents of both players and he is convincing that the players would leave up to expectation.

He pointed out that the arrangement just started some three months ago and he was very happy that every thing went fine as expected.

“Appa is one of Gambia’s finesses players and can make impact in any team if he is given a chance,” Ambroise Mendy concluded.
