The Reproductive and Child Health unit of the Department of State for Health and Social Welfare in tandem with UNFPA lately embarked on a 12-day nation-wide sensitization campaign.
The campaign centred on men involvement in Reproductive Health issues and was geared towards spurring greater men interest in the Reproductive Health of their families.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with this paper, Mr. Famara Fatty of RCH said men are ‘very’ crucial in the campaign as agents of change. Men, he added, are strategic partners in ensuring the health of women and families.
Mr. Fatty advised those sensitized to disseminate the knowledge gained, urging men to render support to their wives whenever the need arises.
