Dogs are on the rampage in Janjabureh attacking and killing animals.

ln the past month alone over 50 livestock have been lost to such activities. This has put livestock owners on the watch as they are really terrified and seem to be in a state of dilemma.

Speaking to the Daily Observer, Mrs. Jenabou Jallow, a livestock owner, said seven of her goats have been killed by dogs in the bushes of the town.

Ebrima Barry, also a livestock owner, said his only goat was killed by dogs in his own compound.

One Alpha Barry, also confirmed that 4 of his goats suffered from the same fate.

Morro Jatta, a native of the town told the Daily Observer that they are putting up measures to curb the menace by using poison to get rid of them.

He, however, appealed to the community to jealously guard their animals, especially during the exercise.
