One Kebba Jobe was yesterday remanded at the State Central Prison in Mile Two, by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Court.
Mr. Jobe was charged for shop-breaking and stealing, contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.
According to Count One, Kebba Jobe on 23rd February 2007, at London Corner broke and entered into the shop of Alagie Bagally Jaiteh, with intent to commit felony therein.
On Count Two, the accused on the same day at London Corner stole the following items- a bag of rice, gallon of oil, 3 packets of soap, a bicycle and a stabiliser, valuing D4820 being the property of the said Alagie Bagally Jaiteh.
He pleaded guilty to both charges preferred against him.
At that juncture, Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh remanded Mr Jobe until the next adjourned date when his fate will be decided.
