Girl needs overseas treatment

Anne Marie Jobe, a thirteen-year-old girl of Ebo Town is seeking urgent medical assistance to enable her go for overseas treatment.

Anne is suffering from congenital structure cardiac defect, including mitreal stenosis and other associated defects.

According to a medical report from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital, Anne Marie Jobe, has a chronic respiratory difficulty with breathlessness, easy fatiguability recurrent chest infections, growth failure, occasional squatting and sudden syncopal episodes.

The treatment, according to reports, cannot be carried out in the country, and thus requires her to go for overseas treatment.

Prior to the illness, Marie was a grade four student of Tallinding Upper School. She was very brilliant, but the illness forced her out of school, said her mother.
