Girl 15 needs overseas treatment

Ndey Jammeh, a native of Lamin Village, Kombo North District, is in dire need of assistance to undergo valvular replacement abroad.

This is because the treatment is not at the moment available in The Gambia.

According to a medical report issued by the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH,) Ms Jammeh has on several occasions been admitted, due to a left ventricular failure.

An examination conducted on Ndey reveals that “a systohic murmur at mural focus radiated to the apex and axilla was conducted together with other aneilany test which reveals that she is suffering from rheumatic mural disease”.
