Tabara Samba, the woman who allegedly poured hot cooking oil on her late husband, Ebrima Nian in Old Jeshwang, was yesterday, remanded at the State Central Prisons at Mile II by
Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates Court.
Tabara Samba was arraigned on charges of murder, contrary to Section 187 of the Criminal Code of The Gambia.
However, when the charge sheet was read, the accused pleaded not guilty.
Presiding Magistrate Jammeh then adjourned the case to April 4. Police Prosecutor 453 Touray stood in for the IGP, while Lawyer Modou Musa Drammeh, represented the accused.
