The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 7th National Youth Conference and Festival (NAYCONF 2006) has congratulated President Yahya Jammeh, the Gambian leader for his valuable and laudable support towards the successful implementation of the event.

In a letter signed by Alhagie Abdou FM Badjie, Governor of Western Region and Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) said “the local organising committee (LOC) for the 7th National Youth Conference and Festival (NAYCONF 2006) under my Chairmanship as the Governor Western Region is pleased and honoured to thank and congratulate you for your valuable and laudable support towards the successful implementation of the event.

Sir, this event could not have been successful without your precious input. This is a clear manifestation that you have the youth in mind and a clear vision for their way forward as future leaders of our nation. The young people of the Region and the action at large are proud and appreciative of you.

In a similar development, we congratulate you on the 42nd Independent Anniversary of our beloved country, and also, for the heroic move in successfully curing HIV/AIDS. This is indeed a pride to every Gambian and Africa in general.
