Heart patient gets sponsorship

Francis Jones, a five year old son of Mr and Mrs Samba Jones of C82 Kanifing Housing Estate, who was born with a chronic congenital heart disease known as tetra logy of fallot, has got a sponsorship from the West African German Project the Bremen Clinic, to undergo a highly technical heart treatment in Bremen Germany.

In an interview with the Daily Observer at his Kanifing residence, Mr Robert Samba Jones father of the child said “words cannot express how happy and grateful we are to the Bremen Clinic for coming to our rescue at this critical time. We have been going all around for over five years asking for help get to allow our son get overseas treatment. With the help of the Project Coordinator, Haja Sophie Touray of the Bremen Clinic and the International Director of the Bremen Clinic Mrs. Gabriele Zachau and her husband, Dr MO Akande agreed to sponsored our child,”
According to Robert Samba Jones, the surgical operation is estimated at 50.000 euro. “Francis Jones will be another Gambian child to benefit from the Bremen Clinic overseas treatment for less privileged Africans”. Rahaela Ramus Mandy, a one year old child suffering from similar heart disease also got Bremen Clinic’s support
