YDA holds consultative meeting

Youths Development Association, a newly established Local NGO, on Sunday held a consultative meeting in Nyaga Bantang Village in Central River Region .

In his opening remarks, Ousman Sallah, Chairman of YDA, said the ultimate purpose of the meeting was to brainstorm on promoting food security and agro-enterprise development.

Bukary Gaye, Technical Adviser of YDA, spoke about the importance of skills training. Mr Gaye said the training of the members on productive skills would go a long way towards developing themselves and improving socio-economic development. He advised them to desist from any activity that would lead them to problems.

Other speakers at the meeting included Musa Bah, Secretary of the Association and Alkalo of Badi Sabally Village.
